Gene Villeneuve

Gene Villeneuve is MASV's Chief Revenue Officer. He leads all global customer-facing functions, including marketing, sales, customer success, and channel partnerships. An Ottawa-based enterprise software executive with over 30 years of leadership experience, Gene specializes in scaling high-growth technology companies, go-to-market strategies, and sales.

Prior to joining MASV in 2025, Gene held senior leadership and executive roles at prominent software companies including Cognos, IBM, Business Objects, Tehama, and eyko. At Cognos, he led product management and led technical relationships with major alliance partners. At Business Objects, he drove visualization strategy, user experience, and enterprise application product management.

Gene is actively involved in his community as a director on the board of EnviroCentre, an Ottawa-based non-profit social enterprise focused on climate action. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management, Marketing, and Economics from the University of Ottawa and is bilingual in English and French.

Based in Ottawa, Gene is a dedicated lifelong athlete who promotes community building and endurance sports. He is a devoted father of two.
